National Red Scarf Day - January 31st
Hi! It’s Hannah! I want to invite you and your organization to help Canadian hunger and homelessness.
Over the past 4 years we have had our National Ladybug Foundation Red Scarf Campaign. The scarves are $20 dollars and proceeds go to help Canadian hunger and homelessness. The campaign always runs from November until the end of February.
My hope is that when people wrap their red scarf around their necks, they will remember that the homeless need us to wrap our hearts around them.
This year I am asking for your help with our third Ladybug Foundation National Red Scarf Day. It will be on January 31st, 2010.
My wish is that we wear our Ladybug Foundation Red Scarves on that day to show our support, love and care for our hungry and our homeless.
Please order your scarves by
clicking here or by contacting The Ladybug Foundation (ladybugfund@shaw.ca or 204.897.0461) to place your orders in advance and be sure to wear your Ladybug Foundation Red Scarf on National Red Scarf Day – January 31st - in support of hunger and homelessness.
Thank you for your help!
Hugs and Ladybugs!
Love your friend,
Hannah Taylor
National Red Scarf Day - 2008
In 2008, Hannah was invited by the Senate and all the Members of Parliament to Ottawa to launch Canada's first ever National Red Scarf Day on January 31st, 2008.
History was made in Ottawa on that day when all the Senate and Members of Parliment gave a standing ovation in support of the same cause on the same day. Together Ottawa and Canada showed their support by wearing Ladybug Foundation Red Scaves on January 31st.
